MPS Action Plan and Letter to Ray Hair
Musicians for Pension Security held its national meeting on April 4, 2018 for all plan participants. Presentations were given by our independant actuary Tom Lowman and our legal counsel and senior policy advisor Jonathan Kantor. Executive Director Adam Krauthamer presented the MPS Action Plan to a packed room of over three hundred people in New York City and to many musicians across the country watching via Facebook Live. MPS has sent AFM President and Lead Union Side Trustee Ray Hair the attached letter urging him to adopt the MPS Plan. Read the full letter here.
Independent actuary Tom Lowman, FSA Bolton Partners has sent the attached letter to the AFM-EPF board of trustees detailing his findings and presenting his recommendations.
